Course Description
Introduction to welding concepts and the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) core curriculum. Topics include knowledge of all safety rules; pre- and post-equipment inspections; fundamental welding processes and procedures; and basic shield arc, oxy-acetylene, tungsten inert gas, and metal inert gas welding using manual setting machines and digital machines. Recommended: Must be a Pinal County High School Student. Prerequisite: WLD115A.
