1. (Knowledge Level) Identify and define the main functions within the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and how they interrelate during an incident. 2. (Analysis Level) Analyze the roles and responsibilities of the Incident Commander at a simulated major emergency. 3. (Knowledge Level) Identify the critical areas of managing a major emergency when several agencies are involved. 4. (Synthesis Level) Develop the organizational structure used by Incident Commanders for all levels of expanding the incident. 5. (Synthesis Level) Develop the organizational structures used by Incident Commanders when dealing with major medical incidents. 6.
