Measurable Student Learning Outcomes

  1. (Comprehension Level) Understand and demonstrate positive, caring, supportive relationships and interactions as the foundation of early childhood educators’ work with young children. (CSLO 1, NAEYC 4a) 

  1. (Application Level) Establish and maintain responsive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and community partners in an early childhood setting. (CSLO 1; NAEYC 2b) 

  1. (Application Level) Demonstrate professional skills, attitudes, and dispositions consistent with the ethical standards of the field. (CSLO 3; NAEYC 6b) 

  1. (Application Level) Apply developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate assessment methods, incorporating input from families and colleagues, to make informed decisions about children’s learning. (CSLO 4; NAEYC 3d)
