Licensed Massage Therapy

This practicum course provides 45 hours of supervised, hands-on experience in a public spa clinic, focusing on therapeutic massage techniques. Building on the foundation of Swedish massage, students will integrate stretching and hot/cold therapies to address clients’ specific needs within the session timeframe. Emphasis is placed on developing customized treatments that enhance relaxation while providing targeted therapeutic benefits.
Students will refine their communication, assessment, and technical skills under instructor supervision, while maintaining professional standards of safety, hygiene, and ethics. Prerequisites: LMT100; LMT101; LMT102.
