This course provides an overview of construction industry safety and health certifications. Topics include hand/power tool and equipment skill development, scaffold building, equipment operating procedures, and financial and life skills. Upon successful completion, students will be issued United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC) Scaffold Erector-Welded Frame Qualification Card. Prerequisites: Program Director's Consent, State Indentured Carpenter Apprentice and CRP135.
